Howard Lee Hall, 62, of Provencal, died at 6:45 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, of an apparent heart attack while working.
Howard Lee was born in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, the son of Robert Lee "Tobe" & Susan Henrietta Hardamon Hall.
He was a member of the Woodmen of the World lodge in Robeline, and was a truck driver and retired sawmill worker. He was a native of Victoria, Texas.
Survivors: widow, Avria Mildred (Avery) Rhodes Hall; sons, Kenneth Eugene Hall of Vidalia; Robert Dan Hall and Jerry Wade Hall, both of Houston TX; daughters, Mrs. Mildred Lee Merrill of Cherrots CA; Mrs. Geraldine Foster of Houston TX; Mrs. Sandra Shepherd of New London CT; Mrs. Melva Gilreath of San Diego CA; Mrs. Linda Nell Freeman of Houston TX; brothers, Otha Hardy Hall of Natchitoches; and George Daniel "G D" Hall of Many; and sister, Mrs. Mamie Eva Forbis of Florien; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held in the United Pentecostal Church in Natchitoches, on Saturday, Dec 30 @ 2:30 p.m. Rev. Ronald Nations officiated. Burial in New Cedron Cemetery under the direction of the First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches.
