An early birthday celebration for Mrs. Elizabeth Thomson brought together two of her sisters and two brothers along with other family members.
The birthday dinner was held at the home of Mrs. Emily Romish, 1035 W. Fremont, to honor Mrs. Thomson, whose birthday is Dec. 17. Because the family members prefer pie to cake, a birthday pie concluded the celebration.
The sisters and brothers, who grew up in the Rexburg area, included Mrs. Thomson, Mrs. Romish and Mrs. Margaret Driggs, Phoenix, Ariz., Arial Smith and Orson Smith, Rexburg.
Joining in the festivities aiso were Mrs. Arial Smith, Rexburg; Mrs. Romish's daughter, Mrs. Walter (Carol) West, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; and Mrs. Driggs' daughter, Carol Lines, Safford, Ariz.
