Patricia Lynn Aarons, 60, formerly of Richland, died Saturday, February 23, 2008, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Visitation is 5-8pm Friday, February 29, 2008, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am Saturday, March 1, 2008, in the funeral home chapel with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Aarons worked for the national headquarters of the American Red Cross. She had a true heart for service and her career helping others was very important to her. An avid reader, she had an extensive collection of author-signed books. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and they returned annually to Mississippi to visit with friends. She will be remembered for the lasting friendships she maintained and her ability to bring a smile to the face of anyone in need.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, George Aarons, of Alexandria, VA; brother, Butch Bates of Slaughter, LA; sister, Becky McDuffy of LaPlace, LA and many close friends.
