MASLAUSKAS, Casimir (Chuck)
went home to the Lord on February 22, 2008. He was born November 6, 1939, in Chicago Illinois. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Maslauskas of 44 years. He is also survived by his daughters Claire Reeves and Jeanette Bernard and his two sons Charles Maslauskas and T.J. Maslauskas. Chuck also has 11 grandchildren that he loved with all his heart. He will be greatly missed. He had a love for football and his beloved Chicago Bears. Anyone who knew Chuck would call him the "Intimidator", just like his football team, but he was nothing but a big teddy bear. The one thing that will stick with his family and friends forever was his uncontrollable desire to be a prankster -- from chasing his children around with live lobsters to picking on the nursing staff even up until his final days. Again, Chuck will be greatly missed by all and a final thought from his son T.J. "If I can be half the man, father and grandfather you were, I've succeeded in life". The viewing service will be held from 5 to 7p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, in Palmdale Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 29, 2008, at St. Mary's Church, Palmdale followed by a graveside service at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations are given to the American Heart Association under his name.
