He owned and operated the former Densford Saw Mill and farmed all of his life.
Born February 28, 1918, in Fowler, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph O. and May (Goble) Densford.
He was a 1937 Austin High School graduate, a member of Scottsburg Christian Church in Scottsburg, Farm Bureau, ASCS-Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Service committee for 8 years, Advisor for Vernon Township Board for 2 terms, was the first president of the Crothersville School Board serving 8 years, was responsible for helping petition to get stucker fork water in Jackson County in the early 1970s, and was an avid Indiana Hoosier basketball fan.
He married Martha (Reynolds) Ault in May of 1969, and she preceded Frank in death on June 26, 1996.
Survivors include one son, Odes Densford, Austin, Indiana; one stepson, Garry Ault, Bloomington, Indiana; one stepdaughter, Janie Densford, Scottsburg, Indiana; six grandchildren, Brian Densford, Scottsburg, Indiana, Charlie Densford, Austin, Indiana, Janissa Huff, Austin, Indiana, Greg Ault, Princeton, Indiana, Kevin Ault, Nashville, Indiana, David Ault, Homosassa, Florida; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Edward L. Densford; a grandson, Kelly Densford; granddaughter, Terri Densford; brother, Estes Densford.
Reverend Larry Joe DeWitt will conduct funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery.
