Graveside services for Henry Floyd Hobson, 84, Route 2, Cottondale, who died Saturday Morning at Veterans Hospital Tuscaloosa, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Old Center Cemetery on Watermelon Road. The Rev. Lawrence Rogers and the Rev. Douglas Turner will officiate with Hayes Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include three brothers, Bruce Hobson and Robert Hobson, both of Coaling; Isaac Newton (Newt) Hobson of Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Mrs. Byrd Franklin and Mrs. Susie Kemp, both of Tuscaloosa; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Allen Nelson, Jimmy Hobson, Woodrow Hobson, Jack Lunceford, Earnest Porter, and Luther Hassell.
Friends and neighbors will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Hayes Chapel Funeral Home.
