Bulah Acree, 92, Anderson, passed away Feb. 19, 2008, at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 9, 1915, in Carter County, Ky., the daughter of Jess and Ona (Dean) Glover. She had lived in Anderson since 1957.
Bulah retired in 1971 from Holiday Inn in Anderson after 16 years.
She was a member of South Meridian Church of God.
She is survived by three children, Paul Acree, Deloris Acree and Sue (husband, Bob) Webb, all of Anderson; daughter-in-law, Peggy Eldridge of Milton; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Acree; and sons, George Eldridge and Donnie Acree.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Foreman officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
