Actress. Born Tamara Brodsky in Berlin and later residing in Britain, she was a leading lady of the 1930s and 1940s on stage and in films. During her career, she shared the screen with such stars as Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh and Bruce Cabot. Her credits include, "Fire Over England" (1937), "The Squeaker" (1937), "Traitor Spy" (1939) and "Send for Paul Temple" (1946). She retired from acting during the early 1950s. She was the daughter of actress Xenia Desni.
