Her parents emigrated from Vsetine, Moravia in June 1892.

She was the wife of Adolph Edward Konecny.

She was a devout Catholic. She attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby, Harris County, Texas.

Vlasta was a Homemaker. Aunt Vlasta dedicated her life to taking care of her family.

Vlasta was the Mother of Gladys Konecny (Barnes). She took care of her daughter for years, until she couldn't take care of her anymore.

One of her Sister's was my Grandmother, Elizabeth Annie "Bessie" (Mazac) Frederick.

Vlasta had eleven brothers: Albert, Anton, Andrew, Joe #1, Steve, Johnnie, Robert, Frank, Johnny #2, John Joseph, and Frank Joseph.

She had seven sisters: Rosalie, Marie, Bessie, Emma, Effie, Bertha, and Olga Mazac.

Vlasta had two Grandaughters, Paulette Jean Barnes (Smith), and Stacey Michelle Barnes (White).
