born Jan. 28, 1971, in Lancaster. Passed away Feb. 5, 2008, at the age of 37. Graduate of Paraclete High School, he was a L.A. County Deputy Sheriff from Jan. 28. 1991 to March 20, 2004, serving a part of this time in the Antelope Valley. Survived by his children Rylee and Matthew Marcotte, his parents Robert and Helen Marcotte, 5 sisters, Candi Marcotte, Cindi (Paul) Worthen, Tina (Bobby) Nix, Shelly (Darren) Glover and T.J. (Bill) Marcotte-Greer, 1 brother Bob (Kim) Marcotte, 6 nieces Rachelle, Deanna, Jennifer, Jessica, Heather and Jamie and 10 nephews Brian, Scott, Josh, Denny, Kenneth, Steven, Jeff, David, Michael and Trip. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, open casket from 4 to 7 p.m., closed casket from 7 to 8 p.m. at Halley-Olsen- Murphy, Lancaster. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Father Serra Parrish, Quartz Hill. Interment immediately following funeral at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Lancaster, Reception to follow.
