Youngest of 10 daughters born to M.O. and Rosa Viola Thompson. Married WC Jones on 6/9/1941 and had 2 daughters. Virginia was a beautician at the Jones store in downtown Kansas City for 13 years.
She was a great sister, wife.mother and grandmother, great grandmother. She loved her family very much and they dearly love her and miss her.
When I think of a true "lady" I think of my grandma. I had the best grandparents of all time. I hope I can be as great as they were but that's a pretty high standard to meet.

We never dreamed that she could go
And leave us here alone;
Her soul seemed but apart of ours,
Her life our very own
And now she's gone,
and never to come again,
Her gentle words, her kind advise,
We listen for in vain
But over across the Jasper Sea,
Besides the gate she stands
And waits for us with loving smile
and eager outstretched hands.
It won't be long, it cant be long
Till earthly trials are over
Oh Precious hope, We;ll meet again
Where partings are no more.
