STUART - Carlyle Perkins, 101, of Stuart died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1998, at his home. A native of Essex, CT, he lived in Stuart for 33 years. He moved here from New Britain, CT.
He was a member of the American Legion, New Britain.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mable Perkins.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Bitzkowski of Stuart; a sister, Marge Vollhardt of New Britain, CT; a grandson, Robert Bitzkowski of Stuart; three granddaughters, Kathy Merklinger of Stuart, Jerri Smith of Palm City and Mary-Ellen Stukel of Port St. Lucie; and seven great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
