Funeral services for Thelma C. Parham of Cordele will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2008 at Pitts Church of God. Interment will follow at Pitts Cemetery. Mrs. Parham, 88, died at Cordele Health and Rehab Friday, February 1, 2008. She was born in Wilcox County and was the daughter of the late Horace Elbert and Camilla Calhoun Cantrell. Mrs. Parham was a retired seamstress and homemaker and a member of Pitts Church of God. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Wilson Odom of Sylvester; a brother and his wife, Doc and Ruth Cantrell of Pitts; three grandchildren and their spouses, Danny and Carol Ross of Cordele, Debbie and Chris Yale of Jacksonville, FL and Pam Ross of Fitzgerald; three great-grandchildren, Lawson Yale, Ross Yale, Jake Yale, and Jason Meeks; and a niece and her husband, Dottie Ann and Emory McEuen of Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by husbands, Floyd Lawson and E.T. Parham.
