Bob passed away Thursday, Jan 24, 2008 surrounded by his family.
He was born April 18, 1952 in Grand Rapids Michigan to Bejamin and Edith Chesbro. He lived in Killeen Texas for over 20 years. After high school he joined the Army where he served his country for 24 years. He served during Vietnam and was a veteran of Desert Storm. Bob was very dedicated to the Army, his duties and his soldiers. He also served his community by organizing multiple fundraisers, supporting the local police, fire and public works departments. He was an active member/volunteer at his church.
Bob was known for his great sense of humor, always making people laugh and smile - he knew no stranger. He liked to fish, work in his shop, ride his Harley, but above all, have fun with his grandkids. He was very proud of his family and loved them with all his heart.
Survivors: Include the Love of his Life, Nancy Chesbro; daughter, Tammy Kenny and husband Mike; sons, Kris Chesbro and Kevin Chesbro; grandchildren Ryan and Kailyn Kenny.
Memorial services were Sunday Jan 27, 2008 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen Texas.
