PALERMO- Mathias Adkins, 78, of Palermo, Lincoln County, died Thursday in a Huntington Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired farmer and livestock dealer.
Surviving wife, Dollie Ann; sons, Connard and Guy, both of East Liverpool, Ohio. Raymond of Palermo, Andrew, Junior, Jack, Dean and Mickey, all of Sias; daughters, Mrs Freeda Adkins and Mrs Flora Mae Lovejoy, both of Palermo; brothers Hal and Roy, both of Sias; 15 grandchildren six great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palermo Methodist Church with the Rev E E Hall, the Rev Buster Lovejoy and the Rev K D Bragg officiating. Burial will be in Goldsbury Cemetery, Sias. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin
