Soap Lake - Orbie Burleson, 59, of Soap Lake died Monday, May 19, 2003 at his home following a brief illness.
A Service of Tribute will be held Friday, May 23, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Fraternal Cemetery in Chelan, with Reverend Frank Needles officiating. Interment will follow.
Orbie was born October 25, 1943 in Dell, Arkansas, the son of Calvin and Lester (Parker) Burleson. He attended school in Dell, Arkansas. He worked on dredge boats, construction and farming.
He was married to Bonnie Lemon on September 11, 1967 at Manson.
He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Orbie Wayne, Seattle; three daughters, Cindy Faye Marro, San Marcos, CA, Jackie Rene Burleson, Chelan Falls, Audrey Frances Dixon, Chelan Falls; seven grandchildren, Robert, David and Sarah Marro, Desire, Ronnie and Robert Parks and Nesha Holloway; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Services are under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
