Emma C. Smith, 92, formerly of Lawrenceville, died at 5:30 a.m. today, Sept. 8, at Richland Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 15, 1884 in Lynn Grove, Ind. to Smith and Sarah Runyon.
Her husband Sylvester C. Smith, preceded her in death along with her parents and three brothers.
She was a member of the Bridgeport Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Nellie Shrieves and Velma Burris, both of Washington, lnd.; Mrs. Verda Bach, and Mrs. Nila Amerman, both of Clay City, and Mrs. Waneda Childers, Bloomfield, Ind.; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the Cardascio Funeral Home, Clay City. Burial will be in Clay City Cemetery.
