She was born Lulu Forkner on Nov. 3, 1889, at Conway, Mo. In 1912, she married A. L. Lewman at Bartlesville, Ok. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Arkansas, Kansas then in 1926 to Manson.
She and her husband owned and operated an orchard in the Manson are. In 1946 she moved to Davenport where she made her home until 1975.
She was a member of the Manson United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Thunhurst, Manson; a son, Floyd Lewman, also of Manson; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978 and by three brothers.
