Frank F.M. (Marion) Loxley, 94, a former resident of Lewisburg, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Effie Frank, at Columbus, Sunday morning. Surviving are another daughter, Mrs. McDowell of Baltimore, Md.; three sons, Walter, of Dayton, Elmer of West Alexandria, and Earl, of Newport, Tenn.; a step-son, Harry Walker, of St. Paul, Minn; nineteen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Kramer Memorial chapel in Lewisburg, with burial in Sugar Grove cemetery, near New Lexington.

A former Lewisburg resident, F.M. Loxley, died at 1:30p.m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W.H. Frank of Columbus, whose home he had shared for more than 20 years. the fine old gentleman would have been 95 years old this Saturday. He passed away following an illness dating back to last Thanksgiving, and had been bedfast since early January.
Born on the old Loxley homestead along Prices creek, about four and a half miles southwest of Lewisburg, Mr. Loxley lived in this area all his life with the exception of residents of four years in Cincinnati and several years in Dayton.
Funeral rites were conducted at a Columbus funeral home Monday evening and at Kramer Memorial chapel here Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. Donald Fritz, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran church in Columbus, where Mr. Loxley held membership, officiating at both services. Burial was in Sugar Grove cemetery near New Lexington.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Effie Frank of Columbus and Mrs. Pearl McDowell of Baltimore, Md.; three sons, Walter of Dayton, Elmer of New Lexington and Earl of Newport, Tenn; a step-son, Harry Walker of St. Paul, Minn; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Russell Loxley of Lewisburg was a daughter-in-law.
