MANSON – Ruth S. Finley, 74, Manson, died Friday morning at her home.
She was born Ruth S. Hall on Sept. 27, 1908, at South Bend. In 1918 she moved with her family to Bend, Ore., and graduated from Bend High School in 1928. On July 14, 1928, she married James F. Finley at Bend. They made their home at Bend until 1949 when they moved to Manson.
The couple had been active in the orchard business and Mrs. Finley was seasonally employed at Lakeshore Orchards for several years.
She was a member of the Christian Science Society of Chelan and the Mother Church of Boston, Mass. She had been an active member of the Manson Grange for 32 years.
Survivors include her husband, James F., at home; two sons, James C., Manson, and Gale, Grants Pass, Ore.; a daughter, Nancy Harding, Manson; two sisters, Amelia Hall, Albany, Ore, and Margarite Boyd, Bend, Ore.; and seven grandchildren.
