My Great-Grandfather. Jesse was born on July 27, 1898 in Childress, Texas to Newton Allen Laughlin and Narcissus Tennessee Billingsley the youngest of 4 children. Jesse married Eva Fay Sullenger on December 12, 1925 and had 4 children Wayne Allen, Eula Fae, Jesse Carl "Sonny", and Dorothy Marie in. He passed away on January 27, 1967 in Fontana, CA after suffering a stroke that left him bedridden at the age of 69 He was survived by his wife of 41 Years Eva, Sons Wayne Laughlin of Riverside, CA, Jesse Laughlin and wife Mattie of San Angelo, TX, Daughters Eula Chabot and husband John of Riverside, CA and Dorothy Harp and husband Ray of Camarillo, CA, 8 Grandchildren Larry and Dale Laughlin, Deborah, Kathy and Denise Chabot, Sharon, Mike and Carla Laughlin all of Riverside, CA.
