Rev. David Nelson Meadows, 83, of LaFollette, died Tuesday, Feb., at the St.Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a member of the victory Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by son Martin Edward Meadows; and parents David and Hester Huckaby.
He is survived by wife Nile Jane Meadows; sons Arlis, Arnold, Robert, and Paul Meadows all of LaFollette; daughters Marie Moore of Speedwell, Shirley Adams of Fla., Fay Poston, Norma Jean Helton, Betty Sue Morgan, all of LaFollette; 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 22, in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Wilson officiating. Interment was held in the Victory Cemetery.
