Suggested edit: Donald Gene Webb was one of the firefighters that responded to a rail car full of propane that was on fire on July 5, 1973. During firefighting operations Donald and 10 other Kingman Firefighters were killed or mortally wounded when the tank exploded into a massive fireball.

Donald Gene Webb 30, died at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. Donald Webb was married and had two children, a daughter, 8, and a son, 5. Don was the owner and manager of the Eastside Shell Service Station in Kingman. He was a volunteer member of the Kingman Fire Department.
