Mrs. Lizzie Jane Morgan, 71, died at the Taylor County Hospital on Thursday, October 16, 1975. She was a native of Marion County, born May 11, 1904, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Sally Ann Russell Daugherty. Mrs. Morgan was a resident of Rt. 1, Campbellsville, for the past several years and a former resident of Marion County. She was the widow of the late E. P. Morgan. Mrs. Morgan is survived by two brothers: Lilburn Daugherty of Rt. 1, Campbellsville, and Moses Daugherty of Glendale, Kentucky. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 18, with the Rev. George Young officiating. Interment followed in the Ryder Cemetery in Marion County.
