Notes: Hiel Bronson was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in September 1833 at Norton, Ohio, by Ambrose Palmer. He was ordained an elder in 1833 (1834) by William Phelps. He received his patriarchal blessing on 15 May 1836 at Portage County, Ohio by Joseph Smith, Sr. In February 1862 Hiel was baptized and confirmed a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Princeville, Peoria, Illinois, by George Rarick. He was ordained an elder in February 1862 at Coventry, Ohio, by Geo. Rarick. By April 1863 he was acting as president of the Princeville, Illinois Branch. Hiel was ordained a high priest on 9 April 1866 at Plano, Kendall, Illinois, by J. W. Briggs and James Blakeslee. He attended the Princeville, Illinois Branch.
