Elsie F. Dorcey was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Hardlin, Mont., the daughter of Arthur E.
and Edith Mae Kappleman Dorcey. She married Clifford M. Baumann on July 10, 1958, in
Candaton, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1982.
Elsie was a retired machine operator, last employed at Rodman Industrial Remco. She
retired in 1961. She was a member of the F.O.E. 956 of Rock Island, Women's
Auxiliary. She enjoyed going on the gambling boats.
Survivors (and spouses) are her son, Ed Baumann, Sr., Gulf Port, Miss.;
grandchildren, Ed (Jody) Baumann, Jr., Moline, and Tiffany (Butch) Edens, Long
Grove, Iowa; sister, Evelyn Johnson, East Moline; brother, Donald Dorcey, Rock
Island; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Aubrey Baumann. She was preceded in death
by her parents; brothers, Kenneth and Keith; and sister, Darlene Carnicle.
