BALL FLORENCE died September 27, 2001 of cancer. She was the beloved wife of Richard Ball and is survived by him and a sister, Marilyn Poole, & numerous nieces and nephews. She was born at La Junta, Colorado, August 28, 1923 and served in the U.S. navy during WWII. Later, she received a master's degree in art from the University of California, Berkeley. Florence was a strong supporter of the trade union movement and spent her working life as a secretary for several trade unions. Visitation: Monday 10/01/2001 at Wilson & Kratzer in San Pablo, 11:00am - 1:00pm. Graveside Service: Monday 10/01/2001 at Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond, CA @ 1:30pm.
