          84yrs, 9mos, 26days

Louise (Clemer to family) passed away on Friday, Feb 18, 2022. God must have wanted her to spend that special 85th birthday with her family in Heaven. She passed peacefully at her daughter's home in Jenks, OK where she lived the last three and a half years.

Louise was born in Prices Chapel, Oklahoma (Sequoyah County) on April 24, 1937 to Evit Seaton and Fannie (Overtaker) Shanks Seaton. She was the only child born of their union. Previous marriages for both her mother and father yielded many half siblings for Louise. There was no half as far as she was concerned since she was raised with, and lived within miles of her Shanks siblings all her life.

Louise was a homemaker, she loved going to garage sales, buying cars, houses, campers, anything to fix up and resell. She loved flower pots and hanging baskets and crepe myrtle bushes/trees around her yard. She loved sitting on her back porch swing and watching the hummingbirds and feeding them. She and Lee enjoyed taking long drives, whether it was to look at the fall leaves, visiting a casino or to Branson and going to the country music shows. She was a member of the Cherokee Nation tribe.

Louise is survived by 2 children; daughter, Rhonda (Butcher) Owens and husband Fred; son, Don Butcher and wife Kelli.
Three grandchildren: Bobby Butcher, Courtney Butcher (Michelle) and Ashlee Owens-Jellison (Matt).
Three great-grandchildren: grt-grandsons, Brayden and Benjamin and grt-granddaughter, Jaden.
Many beloved nieces and nephews as well as Barbara Bahmer, one of her life long friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Lee Putnam of Glenpool, OK; her parents of Sallisaw, OK; sisters, Pauline (Shanks) Day of Sallisaw, OK, Lahoma "Tommie" (Shanks) Lowe and Lillian Ruth (Shanks) Mullins of Sapulpa, OK; brothers, Bob Shanks of Glenpool, OK; John Shanks of Sapulpa, OK; Gano Shanks of Tulsa, OK; James "Babe" Shanks of Sallisaw, OK and one nephew, Timmy Mullins. Also, her best friend since the 1950's, Jeaunelda Jones, passed in 2020.

Funeral was at Green Hill Memorial Chapel and burial was on 2-22-22 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Grace Hospice in Tulsa for the last few months of care and compassion to Louise and her family.

In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association. https://www.alz.org/oklahoma

It was the wishes of Louise and Lee to be buried next to their former spouses (Carl Brewer) and (Lila Putnam) that they had both lost to cancer 2 yrs before they married. Lee and Lila are in Bixby, OK at the Bixby Cemetery. Louise and Carl are in Sapulpa, OK at Green Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
