Mrs. Anderson was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was active in many civic organizations. Mrs. Anderson was involved in many Co-Lin projects during her active years.
Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, R. E. "Bob" Anderson, who served in the MS Legislature for 31 years. She is also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Amber Elizabeth King.
Survivors include sons, Ralph Edward Anderson of Gulfport and Jimmy Drane Anderson of Wesson; daughter, Beverly Anderson King of Wesson; sisters, Ethel Mae Harrison and Allene Drane, both of Clinton; grandchildren, Timothy Edward Anderson, Mary Katherine Anderson, Kevin Thomas Anderson, Jimmy Anderson, Jr., Amy Anderson Runnels, Brian Randall King and Stephen H. King; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and many beloved close friends including special friend, Wyn Jones and other caregivers.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
