Swedish court servant. He was born on the then Danish Island Saint Croix about 1747. When he was about ten years old he was sent to Europe and Sweden where he became the foster son of queen Lovisa Ulrika. He was originally named Couchi but was christened to Adolf Ludvig Gustav Fredrik Albert and was given the surname Badin, meaning trickster. Almost the entire royal family was his godparents. Badin was a servant to queen Lovisa Ulrika and after her death 1782 to her daughter princess Sophia Albertina. Badin was married twice but had no children.
