Mr. Pritchett, the son of the late Leslie Eugene Pritchett and Floy Mae Smith Pritchett, was born in Jones County on January 11, 1933, and had lived here most of his life. After high school, he served with honor in the United States Navy. Upon returning to civilian life, Mr. Pritchett worked as a hardwood flooring specialist and was a member of Roundway Baptist Church in Wayside. He was preceded in death by his wife: Christine Pritchett.
Mr. Pritchett is survived by his son: James Cullen Pritchett, Jr., of Macon; brother: Henry Pritchett of Macon; and by his grandsons: Chad Pritchett of Macon and Brent Pritchett of Los Angeles, California.
