Phillip M. Barnett WARSAW - Phillip Meredith Barnett, 69, died Wednesday at Gallatin Health Care Center.

He was an electrician, a U.S. Army veteran, and member of Masonic Lodge 128, Owenton.

Survivors include his son, Lonnie Barnett; daughters, Amy Elliott, Tina Riley, Robin Cecil and Shelly Lynn; brothers, Harry and Jimmy Barnett; sister, Sara Ann Greene; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday with service following at Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home, Warsaw . Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery.

Memorials: Owenton Lodge 128 F&AM, 137 W. Seminary, Highway 22 W, Owenton, KY 40359.

Phillip Meredith Barnett, age 69 and a resident of Warsaw passed away Wednesday, December 19th, at the Gallatin Health Care Center. Born November 23, 1938, he was the son of the late Homer Melvin Barnett and Nila B. Drury. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven.

Phillip served his country in the U.S. Army for 23 years and also worked as an electrician. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge No.# 128 in Owenton. He is survived by one son: Lonnie Barnett of Middletown, Ohio; four daughters: Amy Elliott of Cincinnati, Tina Riley of Warsaw, Robin Cecil and Shelly Lynn both of Harrodsburg; two brothers: Harry Barnett of Harrodsburg, and Jimmy Barnett of Prattville, AL.; and one sister: Sara Ann Greene of Junction City, KY. Twelve Grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, from 9am until 1pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral Services will begin at 1pm at the funeral home with Bro Darrell Maines officiating. Burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Warren Henry, Charlie Bickers, Anthony Bickers, Larry Bond, Sonny Hawkins, and Chris Elliott. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: Wayne Caldwell, Russell Bickers, and Larry Bickers.
