Graveside services for Judy James, Harrisonville, Mo., will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. W.E. Chandler officiating.
Mrs. James died Aug. 12, 1997, in Kansas City, Mo. She was born to Carl W. and Thelma Kelty Atkinson Oct. 9, 1945, in Ardmore.
A 1963 graduate of Ardmore High School, she worked in radio and television, as a disc jockey for KKAJ , and program director for KOCO Channel 5 Television in Oklahoma City. She was a lifelong member of the Nazarene Church and was for many years an active member of the Arbuckle Area Council of Boy Scouts. She lived in Harrisonville, Mo., at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth James Jr., of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Tammy James of Kansas City, Mo., and Matt and Lori James of Osage Beach, Mo.; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Pat Atkinson of Killeen, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Charles Monjarus of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; and a great number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 this evening at Craddock Funeral Home.
