Gus W. Voelkel, 79, of DeSoto, TX passed away December 17, 2007.
Mr. Voelkel was preceded in death by his parents and his son Alex.
He is survived by his wife: June Voelkel of DeSoto, TX; son: Ronnie Voelkel & fiance Patricia of Duncanville, TX; granddaughters: Ashley Lauren & Jordan Maree Voelkel and a host of special dear friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 6 - 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the West/Hurtt Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine, Houston, TX 77055 on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests contributions in memory of Gus W. Voelkel be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 199300, Dallas, TX 75219-9300.
