Susanna Choate was baptized Aug 11, 1765 in Londonderry, Rockingham County, New Hampshire to Humphrey Choate and Ruth Lufkin.

Aug 19, 1784, Susanna Choate married her 2nd cousin William Choate, Jr.. Their common ancestors are their great-grandparents Thomas Choate and Mary Varney.
They resided in Chebacco, Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts where their first child, William Choate, was born on Apr 18, 1785.

Sep 2, 1785, after he sold his half of the farm on Hog Island to his brother George Choate, they removed to Londonderry, Rockingham, New Hampshire, where he became a leading citizen, and active in town affairs.

Aug 21, 1786, their second child Susanna Choate was born in Londonderry. She married William Anderson in 1786.

They had ten more children, two died in infancy.
