Sheila Ann Messersmith Kohlmeyer, Francisco, died at the age of 32 on Monday evening, July 17, 1978, in St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, following a lengthy illness.
Born on Sept. 5, 1945, Miss Kohlmeyer graduated from Oakland City College and earned a master's degree from Butler University. She was a teacher at North Posey High School, Avon High School, near Indianapolis, and Sullivan High School and was a member of the Francisco Methodist Church and Tri Kappa.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Messersmith, Francisco; one brother, Dennis, Francisco, and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Francisco.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Tri Kappa.
