Deborah Jean McCaffree, 54, of Forsyth, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at the Rosebud Health Center in Forsyth, after a battle with cancer.

Graveside services will be at the Prairie County Cemetery in Terry.

Deborah Jean McCaffree, age 54, of Forsyth passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the Rosebud Health Center in Forsyth.

Deborah was born in Terry, Montana on November 10, 1953, the daughter of Wayne and Jean C. (Lotvedt) Kuehn. She attended grade school and graduated from Terry High School. Following her schooling, she entered the beauty school in Miles City, working as a beautician briefly and then stayed home and helped on the ranch on the Tongue River. She married Tom Ketchum on August 8, 1972 at Terry, Montana and they remained on the Tongue River until 1993 when she moved into Miles City. She went to work for Doctor Randall Rauh where she worked until 1999 when she married Roger McCafefree on May 1, 1999 and they made their home east of Forsyth. Deborah loved to camp, fish, go boating, sewing, woodworking, being outdoors, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Roger McCaffree of Forsyth, MT; three sons: Chris (Jenny) Ketchum of Gillette, WY; Tye Ketchum of Miles City, MT; and Ryan Ketchum of Longmont, CO; her step children: Clint (Brooke) McCaffree of Forsyth, MT; Tanya (Jason) Brewer of Forsyth, MT; Tannea (Joey) Tinker of Great Falls, MT; two brothers: Greg Kuehn of Missoula, MT; and Tim Kuehn of Helena, MT; a sister, Stacey Northup of Eau Claire, WI; and six grandchildren.
