Source of burial here: According to the 1936 W.P.A. Historical Inventory of this cemetery by Scioto M. Herndon, there was a gravestone for her (few remain). Transcribed incorrectly :
"SUSANNEAH (sic)HUNTER
D. Dec. 7, 1779 (sic)
Agd 34"
The inventory listed her death in 1779, aged 34 years, although the old individual stone clearly says 1799, aged 51 years.
She is also on the fenced in monument, a cenotaph, which was based on the old gravestones. It also incorrectly used the above dates and says:
SUSANAH HUNTER
1745 -- 1779 (sic)
Transcribed from the original existing stone, photo dated 17 Mar 2010 and says:
SUSANAH HUNT(ER)
died Decbr 7th day
1799
Agd 51 Years
IF she was aged 51 years, then she was born in about 1748.
