Seth "Happy" West Parrott, Jr., 77, of New Bern, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.
Happy is the son of the late Seth and Elizabeth Parrott and is also preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Bette McInnis.
He was a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church and served as a Medic in the Air Force in his younger years. He was a member of Doric Lodge # 568 and the New Bern Shrine Club where he served on the Shriner's Chef Crew and was a Patrol Member. He was also a member of New Bern Elks Lodge # 764.
A memorial service with Masonic Rites will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at New Bern Elks Lodge # 764, 1175 Pinetree Drive, New Bern, NC 28562.
