Dr. Silas Soule Taylor is the son of John Chambers and Mercy (Trask) Taylor. He m1, Almyra Hewitt, m2 Esther Ann Came. With Almyra, he parented William Henry, Amos, Joseph, and Mary Emerette Taylor. With Esther, he parented Frank Silas, Edwin Joseph, Charles Lewis (my paternal grandfather), and Arthur Wesley Taylor.

Dr. Silas Soule Taylor, graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, in 1851.

Dr. Taylor is one of my paternal great grandfathers.
