Hannah married James Brewster Fowler on November 19, 1850. The couple moved from Salt Creek to South Bloomfield, Morrow County, Ohio in 1856.
Hannah was the mother of four sons; Lorenzo Dow Fowler, John L. Fowler, Howard June Fowler and Gilbert Turner Fowler.
In 1873, James and Hannah, along with James' brother Layman made the difficult journey to California and purchased 640 acres in Warthan Canyon, Fresno County, California.
Hannah passed away in 1900 and is buried with her son Howard James Fowler very near the land they owned in Warthan Canyon.
