Mr. Olson was sticken less than seven hours after he had attended his wife's funeral. Mrs. Olson died Friday, July 23, 1954.
A police inhalator squad was called but attempts to revive Mr. Olson failed.
He was born in Rockford May 03, 1871, and lived here his entire life. He married the former Estelle Sherman August 06, 1893 in Rockford. He was employed by the Central Illinois Electric and Gas company for 47 years, and for 29 of those years was a motorman on the old interurban line.
He was a member of the E. F. W. Ellis Lodge # 633, A. F. and A. M. Surviving are two sons, John F., Elmwood Park, and Harry A., Delevan, Wis.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
