BORN 3/1/1897 to M/M. Searcy Quinney. Married Myrtle Gertrude Jensen in 1926. Member of Woodmen of the World, the American Legion and past-president of Lexington ISD board of trustees, also, Lexington Fire Chief for many years. Preceded in death by a grandson, Neal Louis Knipstein in 1973.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Mrs. Myrtle Quinney of Lexington; son, Ernest R. Quinney of Lexington, daughter, Mrs. Louis Knipstein of Lexington; brother, F.D. Quinney of Lexington; sister, Jessie Epp of San Antonio; 3 half-brothers, John Taylor of Lexington, Charlie F. Taylor of Austin and B.R. Taylor of Houston; 2 half-sisters, Mrs. Harry Brodman of Austin and Mrs. Myrtle Elzner of Galveston; 3 grand-children.
