Mary Ann Wolf was born June 8, 1860 in Clinton County, New York to Lucian Wolf and Ann Carroll,who was born about 1838 in Ireland and died about 1862 in New York, when Mary was about 2 years old; Mary had an older sister Sarah Wolf b. 7 May 1858 in New York died 30 April 1916 in Bellingham, Wa. m. Dominck Demarais,and a younger brother Lucia J. Wolf b. 10 Feb 1862 in Clinton Co., New York d. 13 April 1928 in Lane County, Oregon m. Gertrude Graves. After Mary Ann Wolf Madison, mother Ann Carroll died Lucian married Harriett Coolidge:
The Lucian Wolf were living in Todd County, Minnestoa in 1875 where Mary meet and married Francis "Frank" Madison.
Mrs. Mary Madison 75, widow of the late Frank Madison of this city, resident here for 47 years, died last Saturday after a lengthy illness. Funeral service are to be held tomorrow, Tuesday afternoon, at two o'clock at the McDonald Funeral Home with the Degree of Horon in charge and burial in Ocean View cemetery. The McDonald Funeral Home is the former Lyden Funeral Home.
The late Mrs. Madison was born in New York June 8 1860. She came with her family 47 ago and was one of the pioneer women of the city. In her younger days Mrs. Madison took part in many of the civic and franernal activities here and had a large circle of friends among the older residents.
Surviving relatives include two sons Warren and Roy Madison of Port Angeles; five grandchildren George W. and Lyle J. Madison and Jack Archibald of this city and Mrs. Ruth Martin, Quincy, and Mr. Helen Becker, Storrie, both of California. There are three great grandchildren, Jerry Martin, Donald and Ralph Becker all of California.
