Ronald was a limo and taxi driver, he lived in large towns in several states, St. Louis Missouri; Chicago Illinois; San Antonio, Texas; he lived in many places in these area's, he lived in apartments and hotel rooms.

In his early years he worked as a hotel bellhop, and waited on tables. He enjoyed life, he kept up on the local events, keeping a list of activities and events to suggest to his family, friends, clients. He enjoyed collecting fiber optic clocks and trinkets. He liked to keep a watch on his wrist and would gift watches to his family and friends who were seen without one, he had a deep belief that everyone should know what time it is. Umbrellas were often left in his cab by riders, as well as cameras and other items, he was for giving unclaimed items to friends and family.

As a young boy he contracted polio. He struggled to walk and wore braces on his legs for a while. He was able to make a full recovery, however his gait was rather unusual as a side effect from polio.

Ronald enjoyed sharing things with his friends and family, often the giver of items people left in his taxi cab, such as umbrellas, one of the main lost items people often left behind when leaving his vehicle. Other items he gifted watches, cameras. He gave watches because he felt people needed to know what the time was and should have a working watch.

He LOVED birds. He often kept one or more parakeets, cockatiels in cages in his small apartments. He would kiss them and let them peck at his nose, calling them "good little birdies". He was gentle with his birds, and they seemed to create a calm in him, a softer side to him. He would be having a slow day at work, come home and take out one of his birds and enjoy time with them. He was very happy to keep them in food and water, and enjoyed purchasing toys for them to play with in their cages.
