Services for Fredona R. DAVIS, 89, of 20822 Peach Rd., Culver, will be at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Gene JANIK will officiate, and burial will be in he Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Bonine Funeral Home, Culver, after 2 p.m. today and until noon on Tuesday, then at the church until services. Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Children's Home or to the church.

Mrs. Davis died unexpectedly of an illness at 4:45 p.m. Friday at the Lakeshore Clinic, Culver. She was born June 9, 1899 in Lebenon to Jesse and Dora TURNER RINEHART. On June 14, 1918 near Rochester, she married Guy B. DAVIS, who died in 1968. She had lived in the Mt. Hope area of Fulton County since 1913.

She was a member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, taught Sunday School for 75 years, was a conference lay member, a district officer in the Women's Society of the church, directed the church orchestra for 20 years, and was church custodian for many years.

She was a member of the Culver Extension Homemaker's Club, serving as a local, district and state officer; was a charter member of both the Extension Choral Club and the Marshall County Parkview Hospital Auxiliary where she was a pink lady for many years; served 27 years on the Marshall County Parkview Hospital Board of Trustees of which she was secretary for many years. She organized and was chairman of the Parkview Hospital Trust Fund, was a member and secretary of the Culver-Union Township Library Board was a charter member of the Marshall County Mental Health Association; a member of the American War Mothers, and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Culver Jaycees in 1969.

Surviving are two sons, Eldon P. [DAVIS], Culver; and Harold A. [DAVIS], Grove City, Ohio seven grandchidren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Lucille) MATHIAS, Bloomington, Ill. A son, Donald A. [DAVIS]; a daughter, Barbara [DAVIS], and two sisters preceded in death.
