Actor. Moreno was a leading performer in the Spanish cinema of the 1950s and 60s. After pursuing an unsuccessful career as a bullfighter, Moreno made his 1954 debut in a bit part in the film "Cañas y Barro." He then began a long partnership with the motion picture director Juan de Orduña. Moreno obtained an immediate success for his role in the hit "El Último Cuplé" (1957), along with the actress and singer Sara Montiel. During the 70s, he also worked in Italian and German cinema. Among his credits are the features "La Venganza" (1959), J. Lee Thompson's "Kings of the Sun" (1963), "Nobleza Baturra" (1964), "La Revoltosa" (1969), "Zorro" (1975), "Die Tiefstapler" (1978) and "Mala Yerba" (1991). His career declined in the late 1970s, until his retirement.
