He was born July 14, 1960 in Jackson County, TN, the son of
Evelyn Stafford Gravins of Red Boiling Springs, TN and the late A. C. Kernell. On April 1, 1989, he was married to the former Loretta Timmons, who survives. He was a disabled sawmill worker.
Survivors besides his wife and mother include: sons, Bobbie Dale Kernell and Ray Edward Kernell, both of Red Boiling Springs, TN half-brothers, Timmy Kernell, Gainesboro, TN, Allen Kernell, Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Graveside Services for Dale Kernell, age 47 of Red Boiling Springs, TN were conducted Tuesday afternoon, October 30, 2007 from the Whitley Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
His family served as pallbearers.
