Listed in the census were two daughters, Graceš age 7 and Berestine age 3. The Indiana Birth Record indicates that the child who died was a son born November 20, 1904 in Putnam County.
By 1920, they had added another son, Lowell, about 1911 and another daughter, Ladona, about 1917. They were living in Clayton, Hendricks County, Indiana.
The Indiana Birth Record indicates a daughter named Martha was born in Hendricks County on October 23, 1916.
In 1930, they were still in Clayton. Berestine had married in the previous 10 years and was widowed with two children, Barbara J. and Mary A. Kivett. They were age 3 years 3 months and 1 year 9 months. Clara and Frank's daughter, Ladona was listed as Madona in 1930.
Frank's WWII Draft Registration shows them still living in Clayton although their postal address was Danville.
Her obituary appeared in the March 4, 1937 Republican as Mrs. Frank Sears.
šVia email August 2013 from a grandniece (#47950218) of Clara and Frank's daughter, Grace: my granduncle Noble J. Deveny married Grace Sears in 1934. She died in 1944 in Indianapolis. They had no children.
