Michael A. Heimbach of Golts, Maryland, passed away Saturday October 27, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 37. Michael was born September 17, 1970 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, the son of Donna Williamson Heimbach of Drums, Pennsylvania and the late the late Marvin L. Heimbach, Jr. He worked as a mechanic for Farina's Tire in Smyrna, Delaware for the last several years and was a valued employee. Michael was a member of the Townsend Fire Company, the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown and the Odessa Fire Company. His hobbies included shooting for CJ's Bar in the Pool League, cooking, "muddin" and he was a roadie for the band called the "Mustangs." In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Mark Heimbach of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Vicki L. Derr of East Greenville, Pennsylvania, Gabrielle M. and Danielle S. Heimbach of both of Williamstown, New Jersey; his step-father, Joseph Dry, Sr. of Drums; his adopted family, Mary and George McGuire with whom he lived and David and Cynthia McGuire of Golts and his adopted grandparents, William and Mary McGuire with whom he lived. Services with full Fireman's Honors will be Tuesday November 6, 2007 at 1p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main Street Smyrna, Delaware where friends may call Monday from 6 to 9p.m. Burial will be in Galena Cemetery Galena, Maryland. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Townsend Fire Company, PO Box 194 Townsend, DE 19734.
